Who are you? What do you stand for? Branding is the science of what people think the second you pop into their headspace. Let me explain: Who is Donald Trump? Boom. You automatically have a fully formed idea of this man and what he stands for in your mind. That's how branding works, immediately and effectively. All of us have a brand, whether we know it or not- it's basically what we call our reputation. In the digital age branding is not only important, it's unavoidable as people lodge digital memories of you daily. In business branding is everything, because people always buy the person, not the product. Why should I trust you? Will you honor your warranty? Why should I give you my money? These ideas always precede the purchase and failing to recognize this is a fatal flaw that occurs at step 0 in the customer journey. Get it wrong and you never even cross the starting line. Conversely, a good brand gives you the ability to say things and have people believe you on reputation alone- think about Bill Gates talking computers. If you're online, you're already building a brand because, remember, you can leave a good impression or bad impression, but what you cannot fail to do is leave an impression.

Marketing is the business of getting people to buy things and the science of thought, because the ponder always precedes the purchase. Nobody, but nobody, likes a sales pitches. We all have automatic & immediate defense mechanisms in place to shut off advertisements, much like a woman deflecting the obvious advances of a man trying to buy her a drink. At Felz Media, we don't attempt to sell anything to anyone- our work exists simply in the mind. All we want to do is plant an idea, a very simple idea, in a viewers mind that will produce a purposeful ponder. We won't sell you solar supplies, we show you happy people traveling in an off grid van- now you want to be there. We don't sell you lumber, you simply watch rednecks tearing down an old barn- now you're suddenly thinking of reclaimed barn wood accents in the home. The idea is to take viewers down a winding mental journey that will leave them with an idea in their mind they cannot get out. Thought science is a deep rabbit hole, never enter alone.

Social media has radically & permanently changed the world. Anyone who disagrees is much like an Indian saying the gun would never catch on. You can amass a brand, create a following, launch a product, produce a show or start a revolution on social media for FREE. Imagine a man gets married and builds a small house for just him & his wife. Two years & 2 kids later they build an addition to have more room but soon have a third on the way so the man builds a second story on top of the whole structure. Life is great until one day the house collapses on top of the family while they sleep. What happened? Although the man was a good builder with good workmanship, he failed to realize how large the structure might be one day and laid an inadequate foundation. And the flaw was fatal. Most small business  follow a similar cycle: you start business and achieve some level of success but when the business begins to grow it begins to get shaky and collapses because is lacks the  Success is a secret understood by very few, but Joe Felz knows it intimately, having started penniless & fresh from prison in 2010's economic recession and taking only 7 years to make his first million structure required to succeed.
